The District Rural Development Agency, Malkangiri has traditionally been the principal organ at the District level to oversee the implementation of different Anti Poverty Alleviation Programmes. Eradication of rural poverty through successful implementation of different Anti Poverty Schemes of the Ministry of Rural Development as well as State sponsored plan is the Aim of this organization.

Ameliorate the economic condition of the poor in rural areas by implementing the Scheme/ Programs of Government and by involving the people as well as PRIs representative in the District.
